Chaz Marie began performing professionally at the age of nine. She started singing in one of the many churches her parents J.D. and Millie Marie have pastored. After a few years of perfecting her skills, she started performing all over the Dallas/Fort Worth and surrounding areas at the age of fifteen with her sister Kessie as the Marie Sisters and has been going full speed ahead ever since.
Her major label project the Marie Sisters was released in 2002 on Universal/Republic Records. This project sparked a top 20 hit “Real Bad Mood” on the Billboard music charts. She toured with Kenny Rogers, Wynonna, Lonestar, Joe Nichols, Steve Azar and JoDee Messina. Chaz has worked with several of music’s great producers – Guy Roche, Shepp and Kenny, Richard Marx, Max T. Barnes, and artists Michael McDonald, the Temptations, Pat Green, LeAnn Rimes, and many others.
She is always ready to entertain and captivate her audience with her intricate vocal styling, that original “soul” and unforgettable show stopping performance that only she can deliver. Chaz also does voice over work for commercials, provides character voices and singing for children’s toys and holiday trinkets, and is also a seasoned recording studio professional.
